Sergio Edgardo Rivera (s.e.r) is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer that was born in Miami, Fl and raised in the South Bronx. Growing up in Soundview, the birthplace of hip hop has played a prominent role in the influence of s.e.r’s style. 

Their compositions and productions can be compared to the ethereal sounds of  Flying Lotus, heavy 808’s of Kenny Beats, and classical compositions of Leo Brower and Villa-Lobos. s.e.r’s mission is to connect different communities through a channel of sound and ideas.

Being a queer, Latinx, non-binary artist has led them to create and produce music for artists that are looking for a means of expression and representation. They believe that it is not merely enough to create music, but that we must also push our society into hearing and understanding new complex ideas from voices that are otherwise silenced. 

s.e.r’s live shows are known for their psychedelic effects, musicianship, sound manipulation while incorporating fragments of Spanish guitar. They produce music for the artists on Siren Empire, and have scored music for the award-winning short film Paradise and designer Busayo.
